LG 27GN95R Review 2023: 4K IPS 144Hz FreeSync Premium Pro

The LG 27GN95R is is a premium 4K gaming monitor with 144Hz high refresh rate gaming. It comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is also G-Sync compatible. A Nano-IPS panel backs this monitor and is super colorful and has wide color gamut coverage. It is also HDR 10 and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and you get excellent motion handling for playing fast-paced games.

It is a newer and premium model of the LG 27GN60R with an ergonomic stand and customisable RGB lights on the back that syncs with the audio and video while playing games. We highly recommend this gaming monitor for gaming and media creation purposes and it is priced at around $799 on the Internet, but we are not sure about the price yet.

The LG 27GN95R is a 4K gaming monitor with 144Hz refresh rate and Nano-IPS panel. It has excellent sharp gaming performance, but make sure your PC is powerful enough to handle such demanding screen resolution and refresh rate.

You get AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is also Nvidia G-Sync compatible. It is great for HDR gaming as well, thanks to its HDR 10 and DisplayHDR 600.

The LG 27GN95R has tight arrangement of pixels, resulting in optimum sharpness and screen real estate for office use.

Gamers will love this gaming monitor because of its sharp high refresh rate Nano-IPS display.

It has dual built-in speakers, and is also HDR 10 and DisplayHDR 600 certified, making it excellent for entertainment and media creation.

The LG 27GN95R has a very aggressive design from the front and the first thing you will notice that this monitor has very thin bezels.

It is a large monitor and requires noticeable amount of space. There is a LG logo and Nvidia G-Sync branding on the stand. The stand has a spreaded-leg design and it looks like a proper gaming monitor from the front.

The back of the LG 27GN95R looks fantastic and it looks like a proper gaming monitor from the back. There is a ring on the back with RGB lights in it and there is also UltraGear logo on the top.

We also noticed there are vents for heat to dissipate. In the center of the red ring, there are ports, and holes for VESA mounting. The ports are back-facing so that should increase the depth of this monitor to certain centimetres.

The build quality of LG 27GN95R is excellent and it feels like a solid gaming monitor. Although it is made up of plastic parts, but there are no gaps and the parts seem very well put together.

This gaming monitor has excellent screen clarity and real estate, allowing you to fit more content on the screen than 1440p and 1080p monitors.

It does miss out on swivel function, but that is not a big deal when you get a 4K Nano-IPS panel with 144Hz refresh rate, not to forget the compatibility with both AMD and Nvidia cards. Also, the certification of HDR 10 and DisplayHDR 600 makes it a complete package for high-end gaming.
